    2023 - 2024: Middle East

    Food Market Concept Development Advisory Assignment

    Working in partnership with a large luxury and ecofriendly hospitality brand. Our team delivered a new, innovative sustainable food market concept to position in a tourist focused city centre and to complement their hotel offering. This included concept and brand definition; creative and architectural guidance; financial modelling and business; operational frameworks and culinary and vendor recommendations.

    Food Market Concept Feasibility Assignment

    Working with a large local real estate investor our team have undertaken a feasibility study to evaluate the viability of positioning international community food market, in a currently unused retail space. The team completed financial business modelling; an assessment of possible investment approaches; an architectural and operational review of the location; and a local market evaluation.

    Food Business International Expansion

    Working with a successful and locally renown food operator our team devised and delivered a plan for their operations to expand to another major international city. The plan included revising a financial business plans in order to consider local conditions; operational guidance on regulatory and legal requirements; and connections to local sourcing options.

    'Food Hall' Concept Development and Opening

    Partnering with the city council and senior local government officials our team devised the concept for a sustainable community food market and managed preopening activities and a successful launch. The approach was especially tailored to ensure the government/council goals of urban regeneration and region specific economic and community revival were considered. The work included concept development and careful local refinement; marketing and communications strategy development and delivery; budget management and full oversight of 'the build'; vendor curation, liaison, and contracting; recruitment and training; and community group interface and engagement.
